Headspring Executive Development

A backend website recode for a Financial Times initiative

Headspring Executive Development is a joint venture from the Financial Times and IE Business School that seeks to create a new approach to executive development. Whilst their existing website design was meeting the brief, their backend content management system was not. The Headspring team found updating content on the site almost impossible and needed to be able to create new pages quickly and easily.

Our Approach

We took a brief from the Headspring team to understand the weaknesses of the existing website CMS and how we could resolve these when rebuilding it. Our development team rebuilt the front-end of the website, retaining the design but including notable improvements to mobile responsiveness. We enabled users on all devices to have a seamless and consistent experience. The backend was created using our modular methodology, providing Headspring with the ability to create new pages and restructure the content on existing pages.

The Outcome

Headspring Executive Development has a new website that allows them to edit text and imagery with ease. They can create new pages with bespoke content for a particular audience without having to speak to a website developer. The existing design of the website remains the same, but the Headspring team now has control and flexibility that they didn’t before.
